Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service are between you and CS Digital, the owner and operator of whatsp.app. By accessing or using whatsp.app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service description

whatsp.app provides tools to generate WhatsApp links, claim branded short links, optional public storefront pages, analytics, and related features. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

whatsp.app is not the WhatsApp Business API and is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta. You are responsible for complying with WhatsApp’s terms and applicable laws when messaging customers.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for spam, fraud, harassment, or illegal activity
  • Impersonate others or use slugs/brands you do not have rights to
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to breach our systems
  • Scrape or overload the service without permission
  • Resell or sublicense the service without our written consent

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Branded links and slugs

  • Slugs are assigned on a first-come basis, subject to availability and our reserved-slug list.
  • We may reclaim, rename, or release slugs that violate these terms, infringe third-party rights, or remain inactive on expired plans.
  • Old URLs stop working if you change or lose a slug.

6. Storefront and user content

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a license to host, display, and process it solely to operate the service. You represent that you have the rights to all content you publish.

Customer reviews and public store pages may be visible to anyone on the internet (for Growth/Pro plans).

7. Plans and billing

  • Free and paid plans (Starter, Growth, Pro) are described on our Pricing page.
  • Paid subscriptions (Starter, Growth, Pro) renew automatically on a monthly or annual cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay; their terms also apply.
  • Prices may change with notice; existing subscriptions are handled per the billing provider’s rules.
  • Refunds for subscription charges are governed by our Refund Policy.

8. Referral and promo programs

whatsp.app may offer referral rewards and promotional codes from time to time. Eligibility, amounts, and limits are shown in the product and may change.

  • Referrers may earn a cash reward (for example, a percentage of a referred user’s first subscription payment) credited to an in-app balance, subject to minimum payout thresholds and fraud checks.
  • Referred users and promo code users may receive extended access (bonus months) when a paid subscription ends naturally — for example, when recurring payment stops or fails — not when the user cancels from the dashboard.
  • Referral bonus for monthly plans is typically +1 month of extended access; for annual plans, +2 months. Promo codes of type “extend months” grant the number of months stated on the code.
  • Bonus months do not reduce or skip recurring charges while the subscription remains active. Billing continues on the normal schedule until the subscription ends.
  • If you cancel your subscription from Dashboard → Billing, paid features end immediately, unused bonus months are forfeited, and the standard 7-day data grace period applies.
  • After extended access ends, the account moves to the Free plan and the usual data grace period applies.
  • We may reject or reverse rewards or redemptions in cases of fraud, self-referral, abuse, or violation of these terms.

9. Downgrades and expiry

If a subscription ends or is downgraded, features above your new plan may be disabled. Data may be trimmed per plan limits. We are not liable for data loss after downgrade or account deletion.

10. Analytics and tracking

Store owners receive analytics about visitors to their links. End users visiting a storefront or clicking a link should be informed where required by local law.

11. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT WHATSAPP LINKS WILL ALWAYS WORK (WhatsApp is a third-party service).

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WHATSP.APP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms or third-party rights.

14. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for violations, non-payment, or operational reasons. Sections that by nature should survive will survive termination.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Howrah, West Bengal shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

16. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
