Refund Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to recurring paid subscriptions on whatsp.app — Starter, Growth, and Pro plans billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions are sold by CS Digital, the owner and operator of whatsp.app.

whatsp.app sells subscription access, not one-time products. Each payment authorises the current billing period and, unless you cancel, future automatic renewals.

By subscribing, you agree to this policy, our Terms of Service, and the terms of our payment processor (Razorpay).

2. How recurring billing works

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
  • You are charged in advance for each subscription period.
  • Subscriptions are processed as recurring charges through Razorpay in INR, USD, EUR, or GBP depending on the currency selected at checkout.
  • The price and billing interval shown at checkout apply to your subscription until you change or cancel it.
  • Price changes take effect on your next renewal, subject to notice on our Pricing page and the rules of the payment processor.

3. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time from Dashboard → Billing. Cancellation is not the same as a refund.

  • Cancellation stops future subscription renewals and recurring charges.
  • After cancellation, your account moves to the Free plan and paid features are disabled immediately.
  • Referral or promo bonus months (extended access) are forfeited when you cancel and do not apply.
  • Your store data is kept for 7 days after cancellation so you can resubscribe and restore it.
  • Cancelling does not refund charges already paid for the current or any previous billing period.

4. Referral and promo extended access

Some users receive bonus months of extended access through our referral program or promotional codes that extend subscription time.

  • Bonus months apply only when a subscription ends naturally (for example, recurring payment stops or fails), not when you cancel from Dashboard → Billing.
  • While your subscription remains active, billing continues on the normal monthly or annual schedule.
  • After extended access ends, your account moves to the Free plan and the standard 7-day data grace period begins.
  • Unused bonus months are forfeited if you cancel your subscription.

5. Subscription refunds — general rule

Because subscriptions provide access for a full billing period in advance, fees are generally non-refundable once a period has started.

This includes monthly and annual renewals, unused time remaining after you cancel, downgrades to a lower plan, and changes of mind.

The Free plan does not involve payment and is not eligible for refunds.

6. When a subscription refund may be granted

We may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion only in limited cases, such as:

  • Duplicate or accidental recurring charges
  • A renewal charged after you cancelled before the renewal date (verified by our records)
  • Billing errors or incorrect plan amounts verified by our team
  • Technical issues on our side that prevented meaningful use of paid features for a sustained period during the billed period
  • Where required by applicable consumer protection law

Refund requests must relate to a specific subscription charge. We do not refund hypothetical future renewals.

7. First subscription charge

If you are unhappy with a paid plan shortly after your first subscription payment, contact us within 14 days of that charge.

We may, at our discretion, offer a one-time refund of the first billing period if you have not meaningfully used paid features. This does not apply to renewal charges.

8. How to request a refund

Email help@whatsp.app with your account email, plan name, billing interval (monthly or annual), payment date, payment amount, and reason for the request.

Include whether the charge was an initial subscription or a renewal. We will review and respond within 5–7 business days.

9. How refunds are processed

  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Razorpay.
  • For recurring subscriptions, we cancel the underlying subscription to prevent further renewals when a full-period refund is issued.
  • Processing time depends on your bank, card issuer, or UPI provider (typically 5–10 business days).
  • If a refund is issued, access to paid features may end immediately.

10. Chargebacks on subscription payments

Please contact us before disputing a subscription charge with your bank or card issuer.

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated, and may lead to cancellation of your subscription.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version.
